Reminder, no matter the weather! St. Patricks Day Parade, this Saturday, March 11th, at 1 pm

REMINDER!! The 48th Annual SaPaDaPaSo St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held this Saturday, March 11th, at 1 PM in downtown Cedar Rapids. 

If you can't make the parade, you can watch it LIVE on KCRG TV 9.2 at 1 PM.

For the Parade Participants:

Staging Areas open at 11:00 AM - all entries should bring their parade number and follow the instructions provided for their staging areas A, B, C, or D.  If you have questions on your parade spot, please call Tammy Maneely @ 319-361- 3474. 

Look for the parade marshals in the white coats to get you into your staging area.

  • The current forecast for parade day is 35 degrees.
  • The parade will start at 1 PM and lasts approximately 1 hour. 
  • Additional snow is not expected until late afternoon. 
  • They are calling for a DRY parade as of now.

SaPaDaPaSo awards seven traveling trophies and 1st place plaques for several categories. 

A Facebook live event will be done from Whiskey Jo's LIVE, located at 4617 J Street SW.  Awards can be picked up on parade day at Whiskey Jo's. 

Everyone is welcome to join the fun after the parade at Whiskey Jo's!  SaPaDaPaSo will contact all winners.
